Mister International 2003
The 2003 Mr International pageant was held at the Skyscape Millenium Dome in London, England a month after the Mr World pageant. I covered the event though there was no Filipino rep during this time. The winner was Mr Sharjah, a Brit living in the UAE.

My Miss Universe 1994 Stint at ABS CBN
My first job after graduation was a researcher for ABS CBN during the 1994 Miss Universe Pageant. I had to delay my employment at my alma mater’s University Hospital in order for me to be a part of the pageant’s official media station. Miss Universe 2012…The Guessing Game Continues
A few weeks ago, news came out that New York City will be hosting the 2012 Miss Universe Pageant in December, a rumor that was dispelled quickly when another venue was cited. The Dominican Republic was rumored to be hosting the pageant which was denied by the country’s minister during a press conference. At least three nations five states in the US were also mentioned among fans speculating where the pageant would be held this year.
“Beauty Happens in Mutya”
Thirty (30) gorgeous young ladies vying for the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2012 international titles – Miss Asia Pacific International, Miss Tourism International, Tourism Queen of The Year and Miss Intercontinental – were presented to the media last Wednesday, July 18 at the Midas Hotel and Casino in Pasay City.

American Idol Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez is currently here in New York City busy making visits at the different media stations. We were able to watch her perform at ABC’s Live With Kelly show last May 29 at the ABC studio near Lincoln Center in Manhattan.
I still have to find a camera that can truly capture the beauty of everything my eyes can see…
